My time on the wheel was very interesting. This is the only piece i made that came out somewhat adequate, but not really. When Mrs. Rojas demonstrated how to do wheel spinning, she made it look so easy. But when i finally got my time, it was one of the hardest things ever. Don't get me wrong it was super fun, but, again, very hard.

Second Semester Final Exam

Zentangle:

This is my Calavera skull Zentangle. I didn't have a specific reason of why I wanted to do a skull for this particular project. the idea just came to me. The designs in my Zentangle range from stripes to polka dots to anything you can think of.

Tempera Batik:
This is my Telephone Booth Tempera Batik. I love seeing old timey telephone booths like the ones that they have in England, so why not paint one? Certain parts of my painting messed up due to Cecily and Ellisa, but overall it looks okay.

Kaleidoscope:
If we're being completely honest here, I waited until the very last moment to do this project. I have no clue what I drew. This is just my rough draft on how my Kaleidoscope was supposed to turn out, but I only traced one square of my actual project.

Metal Tooling:
If we're being honest for this one as well, I waited until the very last minute to complete my Metal Tooling project. I just winged it on this. I thought of the first design that popped into my head and I carved it into my metal masterpiece.

Found Object Sculpture: What I did for my Found Object Sculpture was I made a chandelier out of used water bottles. I painted the bottles different colors, I glued them all together to resemble a chandelier, and I was going to put a light inside of it to make it light up. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I asked my dad NOT to throw it away, he did it anyway so I am unable to show you a picture of this particular project. Sorry.

Plaster Subtractive Sculpture:
My picture quality is crap on my computer but, here is my Plaster Subtractive Sculpture. I have made half of a females body (her torso. cut off at the neck and legs, no arms, and has a back side as well). Mrs. Rojas said that I couldn't do anything that was "school inappropriate". But, ever since she said that we were going to be sculpting in her class, my mind was set on sculpting a human figure.

Stained Glass Window:
It took me forever and a day to do this project. For my Stained Glass Window project, I have made a fish under the sea. At the time, someone in the room said, "it smells like fish in here", so that's why I decided to make a fish. The reason why it took me forever was because I made each individual scale a different color based on the pattern I was abiding by.

Bas Relief:

I'm not necessarily sure if this is my Bas Relief project but I'm just going to put it here anyway. For my Bas Relief project, I made a castle, Although, It wasn't a normal castle. I didn't finish painting it, but it was supposed to be this castle that was brought up on the dark side of things.

To be honest, I don't really have a favorite artist. I don't necessarily bother with who's the best artist in town. I just like to draw and paint and design and sculpt because it makes me happy. Although, a few of my favorite paintings would be........ ^^^^
